About this course
How can tourism be reimagined to better serve people and the planet? In this online course, you will analyse tourism through social science approaches (psychology, sociology, geography) and engage with tourism development trends such as voluntourism, community-based tourism and overtourism. You will integrate these concepts with an international team into a tourism case study of choice and take part in dynamic discussions to creatively rethink alternative visions for the development of tourism.

- Written test with closed questions (50%) online module exams (20% & online final exam (30%)
- Assignment other (25%) A team vision, which is assessed on Edx
- Assignment reflection report (25%) Assessed through a final staff assessment on Brightspace.
