Bachelor Package: Advanced operations management

A package is similar to a minor in that it offers a selected set of courses connected to the same theme/ topic. Unlike a minor, however, a package provides greater flexibility in terms of the total number of ECTS credits and the number of mandatory courses. Despite the use of the term “mandatory courses” below, you are not required to take all courses within the package. Instead, the package is designed to help you explore a topic in greater depth while allowing you to choose a combination of electives that best fits your interests and study program.

In this package, you will learn how to model and analyze business operations and tackle real-world decision problems. You will develop skills to understand and optimize complex processes, from supply chains to maintenance and service systems.

It is strongly recommended to follow a logical progression when selecting courses within this package. “Transportation & Distribution” serves as the introductory course and provides the foundational knowledge. The courses “Quantitative Modeling & Analysis of Business Processes” and “Maintenance and Service Logistics” are deepening courses that build on this foundation and may be taken in any order.
