About this course

This course introduces students to applied data skills in psychology and technology using R. Students learn to import, clean, and visualize data; explore statistical patterns; and build interactive dashboards that communicate insights from real-world datasets. Emphasis is placed on reproducible and transparent data analysis using modern data tools and practices.

Learning outcomes

After completing this course, students should be able to:

  • Import, preprocess, and clean datasets for analysis.
  • Summarize, visualize, and interpret data using appropriate statistical methods.
  • Apply knowledge of common statistical distributions to generate and analyze data.
  • Design and program interactive dashboards to visualize and communicate dynamic data insights.
