About this course

Discover the essence of effective leadership in our innovative course designed for emerging leaders. In this course, students will engage with core leadership theories and apply them to real-world challenges, enhancing their ability to make strategic decisions, foster dynamic team interactions, and drive innovation. Through a blend of activities, reflective exercises, and in-depth case studies, students will construct a personalized leadership framework that prepares them to navigate complex environments. By the end of the course, students will have a deep understanding of their leadership potential and develop actionable strategies to lead effectively in diverse and dynamic contexts.

Learning outcomes

After the successful completion of the course, students should be able to:

  • Develop a critical understanding of the contemporary leadership models, theories and approaches necessary to navigate the future world of work;
  • Understand the effect of leadership on important individual- (e.g. work engagement) and organizational level (e.g. performance) outcomes;
  • Understand different approaches towards leadership development;
  • Apply their knowledge in an individual setting and take different perspectives on different leadership strategies;
  • Develop a comprehensive report with concrete solutions based on the diagnosis of a complex leadership problem;
  • Develop evidence-based solutions, drawing from the latest scientific advancements in organizational psychology, to address complex leadership challenges
