About this course

As a logical follow-up to the Intro to Psychology and Technology course (0HV10), this course explores how social and environmental factors shape individual behavior and technology use. Students examine social perception, group dynamics, environmental influences, and human interaction with spaces. Students also present a technological application that is inspired by social and environmental psychology, bridging theory and practice. This course prepares the students for deeper exploration of cognitive and decision-making processes in the next courses within the Psychology and Technology Bachelor program.

Learning outcomes

After this course, students are able to:

  • Understand foundational theories in social and environmental psychology, including their core concepts and frameworks
  • Apply social and environmental psychology theories to analyze human behavior in human-technology and human-environment interactions
  • Analyze differences between theoretical approaches in social and environmental psychology and their implications for understanding human behavior
  • Analyze connections between key theories and principles of social and environmental psychology within real-world contexts
  • Create a clear, innovative, and concise presentation linking theoretical knowledge to applications within human-technology interaction
  • Evaluate sources of information relevant to social and environmental psychology and accurately reference them in their presentation.

  • Industrial Engineering
  • Completed none of the course modules listed below
  • Marketing perspectives on prod inn (1ZV20)
