About this course
In this course, you will acquire knowledge and gain insight into economic theory and underlying methods. You will learn to derive optimal consumer and producer choices, to identify the impact of parameter changes, as well as to discuss the impact of underlying assumptions. Additionally, you will learn to analyze supply and demand on both individual and market level, to analyze different organizations of the industry, as well as to analyze an exchange model. The course is split into two parts: Consumer Theory and Producer Theory. There will be lectures, tutorials and self-study. To finish the course you will have to pass the final exam.
