About this course
From 2025-2026 this course is scheduled in Quartile 2, Timeslot E
The major Sustainable Innovation is a multi-disciplinary major building upon technical, economic and social science knowledge. Previous courses have elaborated on each of these aspects. In the course 'OGO Sustainable Innovation: Integration Project' students are challenged to analyse real-life sustainable innovation problems and design policy, strategy and/or research recommendations from an integrated systems perspective. The students need to apply tools learned in previous courses in order to assess the economic, societal and environmental sustainability of their proposed innovation. Based on their analysis they have to formulate recommendations for governance and management..
Cases in the domain of energy or mobility will be provided by the lecturers. Student groups will be supervised by a tutor. The project will end with final presentation for an interdisciplinary board of academics and broader stakeholders, who provide feedback and recommendations.
