This minor gives you the chance to turn ideas into working prototypes. You’ll join an interdisciplinary team, combine theory with practice, and experience the full journey from concept to creation. By the end, you won’t just understand robotics—you’ll have built one.

After completion of this minor, you will be able to:

• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary team to design and build a robotic prototype for a real client.
• Get hands-on with the processes and technologies behind building functional robots.
• Describe your unique role within a multidisciplinary project environment.
• Understand the key subsystems and components that make robots work.
• Compare design options and make informed engineering decisions.

Your background will shape the depth of your exploration into specific robotics technologies, allowing you to specialize where your interests lie.

Apart from these courses you will work in a team on a robotic prototype. This will be assessed based on:

• Mission Report (Pass/Fail)
• Design report (30%)
• Robotic prototype (60%)
• Handover document (Pass/Fail)
• Peer review (10%)
